L'Hospitalet de Llobregat is a city in the Barcelonès region, on the left bank of the Llobregat river. It limits the west with the municipalities of Esplugues de Llobregat, Cornellà de Llobregat and Prat de Llobregat, and to the east and south with the city of Barcelona, with which it has a continuity of the urban plot. With a population of 254,804 inhabitants (2016), it is the second city of Catalonia by inhabitants.
