The Consortium for the implementation of the Tourism Promotion Plan of the Ebro Region comprises the County Councils of Baix Ebre, Montsià, Ribera d'Ebre and Terra Alta. Its main purpose, and why was established in January 2005, is implementing the Plan of boosting tourism in the Terres de l'Ebre.
The main objectives of the Plan have been the increased quality of tourism services, improving the urban and natural environment of the municipalities, expansion and improvement of public spaces, increasing, improving and diversifying the range of complementary, the enhancement of tourism resources, creating new products, and the involvement and awareness and local agents in the culture of quality.
