The Biodiversity Foundation, founded in 1998, is a public foundation of the Government of Spain. It works to preserve the natural heritage of Spain, leading its efforts to employment, wealth and welfare generation for the whole society, with special attention to rural areas. To this end, the Foundation collaborates with organizations and institutions that make up a large network involving the public sector, civil society and the business sector.
